A Spiritual Awakening is what I consider to be called a "Wake Up to Life" . In this process we begin to question who we are, our beliefs, habits, and people. We have this feeling as if there is more to life.
Spiritual Awakenings is a process of purging, getting rid of things , thoughts , aspects of self that no longer serves us. Spiritual Awakenings is wanting a higher state of Consciousness. Some questions many have within self as they go through this period is " What is my Purpose here?' " Why am i here?"
Spiritual Awakenings occur to expand , evolve and Mature your Soul. The more you connect to your Soul the more you experience Transformation. Many believe Spiritual Awakenings are a beautiful thing, The Destination is Beautiful, the Journey can feel like Hell, Yes, i said it, Hell. It is a process that feels painful and disturbing at first, but its not happening to you but for you. You will have a much more meaningful life with this experience, if you are strong enough to get through it. In this state, you will begin to feel as if your life just doesn't make sense anymore. That is due to having all your Beliefs, desires, challenged, but this is the necessary part of expansion.
What activates Spiritual Awakenings? They can happen at any moment or period in your life. They can be triggered by major life changes or spontaneous. Major changes could be illness, as this was what my situation was, divorces, death, midlife crises, life threatening accidents and much more.. Many of you are an Old Soul and/or Empath by nature. Guess what? Spiritual Awakenings can also be triggered by deep challenging Twin flame relationships. Yes, i said it, but that's another Topic lol. Spiritual Awakenings start as being called the Dark Night of the Souls. This period makes you feel cut off or disconnected to Source as well as yourself. Understand that before we walk to and through the Light we must first enter the Dark. As in the Scriptures " the valley of the shadow of death." This cycle is of Birth and death.
